Vendor Review: Makeup - Kim Song
Recommendation: RECOMMEND Kim did an excellent job and, even though, I was concerned about the amount of blush, it worked out well in the pictures. Kim told me with the photography, I didn't want to look washed out and she was right. Kim was very complimentary.

Vendor Review: Dress
The dress was a Watters and Watters Style No. 5862 bridesmaids dress in Ivory. I worked with Jill who was excellent. It was pretty expensive to get the dress altered at Jeanettes and when I went to pick it up it was not ready but overall, I would recommend them for dress purchases.

Vendor Review: Ceremony Musicians - Ellipse String Quartet
Recommendation: HIGHLY RECOMMEND These are high school student and I hired them because they sounded decent but were not expensive. I had guest ask me at the wedding, where I got them. They sounded so good. I was so happy that I hired them. It made the ceremony extra special. E-mail: ellipsis.quartet@gmail.com
Vendor Review: DJ - Kirk at Kirkabee Deejays
Recommendation: HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND I spoke with Kirk on the phone and immediately liked him. DH did not want to have a DJ but admitted that I was right to hire a DJ. Kirk was laid back and not loud at all. He joked with us and he made suggestions of how and when to do things but left it all up to us to decide. I could not have asked for a better DJ.

Vendor Review: Photographer - Len Spoden
Recommendation: HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND The day I met Len, I knew I would hire him. He was very laid back but made suggestions on where to get my pictures processed, etc. since he sends you the pictures and you can make prints of them. We had preceremony pictures taken and some of our guests had told us they knew the pictures would be great. That Len was unobtrustive and that he took pictures in a unique way. We are so pleased with his pictures, I can not wait to get the CD. He is such a great photographer and well worth the money. He was on the lower end of the photographer pay scale.

Vendor Review: Flowers - Costco.com
Recommendation: Highly Recommend I ordered the 9 piece wedding package which included 1-bridal, 2-bridesmaid, 4 bouts and 2 corsages. They were delivered the Thursday before the wedding and we put them in water. Within the hour, costco called to ask how the flowers were and to see if I can any suggestions for them. They arrived in great condition and were absolutely beautiful. It's been 1 week since they arrived and they are still going strong. The price was approximately $250 plus tax and it was a great deal. Some guests thought that since both my cake and flowers had pearls on them that I can coordinate it. (This was purely a coincidence).

Vendor Review: Officiant - Georgiana Atkins Havill
Recommendation: Recommend She definately did not need a microphone. She was extremely outgoing and add to the vows I had written and provided her. Overall, she was very good. All I could think during the ceremony is for her to hurry up so we could relax and eat and drink.
Vendor Review: Ceremony and Reception Location - Waterford at Fair Oaks
Recommendation: Highly, Highly Recommend Waterford did an amazing job with the ceremony, cocktail and reception setups. When we arrived, the brought us to the bridal room and brought up drinks as well. They also told us if we needed anything to let them know. I had a lot of DIY stuff and decorations that they put out and did an excellent job with that as well. They did an amazing job at an extremely reasonable price. Our ceremony was in the morning and reception in the afternoon which ended up working out great since we were the only function during the day, we had their undivided attention.

Sweetheart Table

I purchased the Bride and Groom signs at Michael's for $1 each. I made the Sweetheart Table Runner. You can find instructions under the Table Runner Post. Our photographer, Len Spoden, was very creative and moved the signs to the floor and then laid on the floor to angle the camera to take the picture with the signs and the table runner behind it.
